From the American Federation of Motorcyclists’ Formula AFemme at Infineon Raceway, Saturday, July 9, 2011:
Finished first with fastest laps at a 1:51 or 1:52, four seconds off my usual pace. Was still recovering from a bicycle crash four weeks prior which left me with sixty stitches…and other unpleasant things.
Very impressive. Gotta watch out for those bicycles, their dangerous. Only bone I ever broke was on one. Never more than banged up on a motorcycle.
Wow, you can pass me anytime! What part of your body had all those stitches? It seemed like you were down shifting a little slow towards the end of the race. Your injuries were probably effecting your stamina by then. Cool onboard video though.
